To do, or not to do.

Just a few of the things in your backyard and surrounding area.

Fishing

Bushkill Creek is stocked with Rainbows, Brookies, and Browns. You can fish off the deck of the house, anywhere up and down the bank of the creek, or at any of the hundreds of nearby brooks, streams, and lakes. We can also recommend a local guide for fishing lessons.

Tubing

Grab one of the house tubes, or bring your own, and take a cruise down Bushkill Creek. The rides go from lazy strolls to slightly ore adventurous, depending on the season and height of the water.

Hiking

The Appalachian Trail marks the southern border of the Poconos, and many trails in state parks lead to beautiful vistas, waterfalls, bubbling wetlands or through old growth forests teeming with wildlife. Some trails are scenic or leisurely, while others are rigorous exercise.

Bushkill Falls

The "Niagara of Pennsylvania," Bushkill Falls is among PA’s most famous scenic attractions. This unique series of eight waterfalls is accessible through hiking trails and bridges which afford fabulous views of the falls and surrounding forest.

Canoeing and Kayaking

Straddling Pennsylvania and New Jersey, the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area features crystal clear water with unlimited opportunities for canoeing, kayaking, rafting, swimming, hiking, picnicking and more

Golf

There are dozens of courses within a short drive, including the incredibly close Great Bear Golf Club and the Shawnee championship course with panoramic views of the surrounding Delaware River landscape.
